Congratulations are in order! After Neverton & FC Penn Run played to a 6-6 draw, The Spirit of 56 clinched the inaugural 7v7 championship this past Sunday with a 5-3 win over Session Wednesday. We are putting the confetti on hold due to the light rain in the forecast.

A schedule change for the final matches this Sunday, October 7: The first match between Neverton and Session Wednesday will kickoff at 2:00 PM. The second match between FC Penn Run and Spirt of 56 will follow at 3:30 PM.

These matches are being moved up because we’re going to hold our Winter Futsal draft at Noble Stein, 6:00 PM. (Yes, the draft was originally scheduled for Monday, but October Mondays don’t jive with much of our soccer community.)

So, please, if you haven’t already, use the indoor sign-up form on the league page as soon as possible. (The league shirt order needs to be submitted on Monday.)
