Indiana traveled to Round Hill Park near Elizabeth for a second-round playoff game against Elizabeth Forward. The home team started well and controlled the game for the first 10 minutes. After some serious pressure on the Indiana goal, an outlet pass allowed Bryan Wilkins to counterattack, and his through-ball found Chad Hojnoski behind the EF defense. Hojnoski finished with a hard shot inside the far post gave Indiana the lead, and this goal appeared to completely deflate the hosts. The half ended 1-0, but it seemed only a matter of time before Indiana increased their lead. Early in the second half, a free kick lobed into the penalty box led to an own goal for EF. A few minutes later, Hojnoski saw the keeper off his line, and chipped over him from about 25 meters out to make the score 3-0. Hojnoski completed a fine game by finding Wilkins in the corner with a throw-in. Wilkins sidestepped a defender, and flipped the ball past the keeper to complete the scoring. After the first 10 minutes, the Indiana defense and keeper Kevin Kerr faced little pressure in maintaining the shutout, and overall, it was a dominating performance. The win moved Indiana to 2-0, and into first place in their pool of the round-robin playoff.
