Elizabeth Forward visited Indiana, and the home team opened the game strongly, controlling possession for the first 15 minutes. However, on the visitor’s first corner kick, the initial cross deflected right to the foot of their best player, who hammered the shot home for a 1-0 lead. The goal, against the run of play, seemed to dispirit Indiana, who yielded to more goals before half-time, and another shortly after. Several Indiana players had scoring chances, but none were able to find the back of the net, and the game ended 4-0, Elizabeth Forward. Indiana goes from the frying pan to the fire against first-place Coverdale Rovers next Saturday in Bethel Park.
